Well what a week!
Monday-Our salon changed over to L'Oreal after alot of thought on the direction that we wanted the salon to go. we wanted a company that supported stylists, especially from all the choices that there are as far as colour , especially the verstilityWe started training on monday morning thinking it would be for 4 hours...well yea right! it went till 4pm, such is hairdressing lol we decided to do each others hair so that we could compare the result, Jess had a Demi gloss (Richesse), i did also and Jade had her regrowth done with Blondys. i love the intensity of the colour but need to see more results. Stock was opened and sorted onto shelves, there was soooo much of it!
Tuesday- Everyone was excited to try out the new products, we did alot of extra reading and entering of products into the pc till late again. Latoya did a few colours and was happy with the results. I did some maji meche foils on jess today and we were both impressd with the condition of the hair after! We had retail training this afternoon.
Wednesday- More stock arrived and more unpacking was done. More colours were done and so far so good, we are using old colour chart to compare and we are starting new consultations with our clients, so that we can establish thier needs better, this has been great as we are looking at them with new eyes ,,,so to speak :-) Another late night entering info into Computer.
Thursday- my first day on the floor using colour on my clients, i stayed pretty conservative (chicken me) till i worked out the intensity of reflect and cover. this was the first day that i didnt have a headache from being over loaded with information, it was great to be doing rather than reading.
Friday- still happy with product, looked at shampoos today and treatments a bit closer, we are loving the smells from the serie nature range mmmmmm
Saturday- YAY we made it through our first week! we had a alot of colours today and it was great using the milkshake colours for toning a new blonde! maji contrast, Blondys, Platine and richesse was used today
What A Year! What an experience....
